Description
Lucid is hiring a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer, General Assembly to lead general-assembly process development, design-for-manufacturing reviews, tooling and dimensional-control strategies, launch execution, commissioning, issue tracking, and production handoff. The role partners with design, quality, operations, maintenance, facilities, supply chain, suppliers, and leadership to improve manufacturability, quality, throughput, ergonomics, cost, and launch readiness. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, six years of complex assembly-process experience, and four years in automotive OEM, Tier 1 supplier, or comparable high-volume manufacturing. The position is fully onsite at Lucid’s Newark, California manufacturing location, with daily in-person presence required.
