Microsoft is hiring a Senior Hardware Manufacturing Engineer to lead manufacturing strategy and execution for complex cloud hardware, GPU, AI, and optical-networking systems from early design through NPI, qualification, production ramp, and sustaining operations. The role owns DFM, factory test, supplier readiness, process qualification, quality systems, risk mitigation, capacity planning, and cross-functional manufacturing execution across globally distributed teams and contract manufacturers. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree and 4+ years of manufacturing or repair experience, with a master's degree and 6+ years preferred. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 119,800–234,700 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
