Description
Amazon Web Services’ Hardware Engineering team is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to scale manufacturing across a global network of contract manufacturers, original design manufacturers, and component vendors. The role owns PFMEAs, control plans, and process flows from product startup through end of life, leads quality control processes, provides technical support during new product launches, investigates customer escalations through root cause analysis, and supports global operations with 30–50% travel. Candidates need at least 6 years of high-volume manufacturing or sourcing experience, 2 years of manufacturing engineering experience with server platforms or high-tech hardware, and 5 years of product development experience; interdisciplinary product design, technical program management, and a relevant engineering degree are preferred.
