Description
1X is hiring a Materials and Battery Compliance Engineer to lead battery and materials compliance for its humanoid robot platform. The role develops global certification strategies, translates regulatory requirements into engineering and supply-chain actions, leads pre-certification and formal testing, manages compliance documentation and certification evidence, and partners with certification labs, notified bodies, and regulatory agencies. Candidates need at least five years of relevant experience, hands-on UL certification experience, knowledge of major battery and materials standards, and experience managing certification programs. The compensation range is $171,000–$200,000 plus equity, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave, and other benefits.
