Description
SpaceX is hiring a Sr. Materials Engineer, Electronic Materials to join its Bastrop, Texas team and advance materials technologies for Starlink. The role leads CVD and device fabrication process development, equipment and process validation, material supply chains, panel-level packaging, metrology, testing, simulation, reliability, and end-to-end R&D programs. It requires a bachelor's degree in materials science, electrical engineering, or an engineering discipline, at least five years of microelectronics device research or manufacturing experience, and availability for extended hours, weekends, and up to 25% travel. The position also requires U.S. government export-authorization eligibility under ITAR.
