AST is hiring a full-time Sr. Mechanical Engineer in Tacoma, Washington, to design and develop complex industrial machinery for aseptic manufacturing processes. The role covers conceptual and detailed design, 2D and 3D modeling, system modifications, risk mitigation, testing, documentation, customer-site installation and startup, and project leadership. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience, at least six years of industrial machine design and testing experience, proficiency with CAD, SolidWorks, FEA, and motion analysis, and training in aseptic processing. The position offers $120,000 to $150,000 for onsite Washington applicants and requires 25% travel, United States work authorization, drug testing, and a background check.
