LaBella is hiring a mid-level Mechanical Engineer for its Building Engineering Division – Energy Infrastructure team in Rochester, New York. The role leads HVAC and district energy system design for decarbonization and electrification projects, conducts field investigations, performs calculations, reviews drawings with junior engineers, and communicates design options and cost-benefit analyses to clients. The position requires 8–10 years of relevant experience, strong HVAC and hydronic system design experience, and familiarity with Revit or AutoCAD; a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, geothermal or district energy design experience, and a New York State Professional Engineer’s license are preferred or advantageous. The salary range is $80,000–$120,000 per year, with health and dental insurance and other benefits.
