Sciaky Inc. is hiring a Mechanical Engineer in Chicago, Illinois, to design mechanical components and assemblies for automated welding equipment and additive manufacturing systems. The role includes creating ASME-style drawings, coordinating with cross-functional teams, reviewing designs, supporting manufacturing and customer design reviews, and suggesting cost reductions. Applicants need at least five years of mechanical design experience in OEM or capital equipment, a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or an additional five years of relevant experience, Creo/Pro-E modeling experience, and advanced GD&T drawing-checking experience. The position requires on-site work at least three days per week.
