AWS is hiring a Sr. Mechanical Engineer - CFD to lead front-end engineering computational fluid dynamics studies, mechanical system selection, site design strategy, water-use calculations, and CFD project management for new owned and leased data center developments. The role includes developing scopes of work, managing external vendors, supporting design specifications, analyzing data center mechanical systems, and providing root-cause analysis and remediation for issues. It requires at least six years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission-critical facilities and a bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering, with occasional travel and international support.
