Forge is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer, Fluids to design, build, test, and deploy complex fluid systems for nuclear reactor hardware. The role includes fluids analysis, manufacturing scaling, reactor test support, troubleshooting, project planning, and mentoring junior engineers. It is a full-time office position based in the South Bay area of Los Angeles County, with relocation required for non-local candidates, extended hours and weekend availability, and travel to reactor construction sites. The position requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline and at least five years of relevant engineering experience, with a senior-level base salary of $140,000 to $190,000 per year plus equity and medical, vision, and dental coverage.
