Description
Voyager Technologies is hiring a Sr. Mechanical Engineer for Lunar Systems to design, analyze, and build primary and secondary structures and mechanisms for lunar systems. The onsite role reports to the Structures, Analysis, and Mechanism Manager in the Propulsion and Test Department in Mojave, California, and leads mechanical engineers, coordinates team tasks, develops tools and best practices, reviews technical content, creates designs and test plans, manages vendors, and presents programmatic and technical content. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, five years of mechanical or aerospace experience, structural and mechanism design experience, knowledge of harsh-environment analysis, and vendor-management experience; an M.S. and aircraft, spacecraft, or launch-vehicle hardware experience are preferred. The base salary range is $120,000–$150,000 USD, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, wellness, and other benefits.
