Lucid is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical architecture, packaging, integration, validation, and production launch of high-voltage power electronics for future vehicle platforms. The role covers onboard chargers, DC-DC converters, HV junction boxes, liquid-cooled assemblies, environmental and durability testing, supplier and DFMEA reviews, and cross-functional collaboration. Candidates should have mechanical engineering fundamentals, electromechanical packaging experience, high-voltage product design knowledge, CAD and GD&T skills, and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline. The position is on-site at Lucid HQ in Newark, California, with a base salary of $144,000–$198,000 USD annually and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
