Intuitive Machines is hiring a Senior Mechanisms Engineer for an on-site role at its Mechanisms Annex in Glen Burnie, Maryland. The position leads the end-to-end design, development, procurement, testing, and integration of spacecraft and ground-support mechanisms, including actuators, deployers, gimbals, robotic systems, and launch hold-down systems. Responsibilities include bearing and geartrain analysis, CAD and tolerance work, test planning, environmental testing, supplier management, and mentoring engineers. The role requires a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, at least 10 years of experience, and expertise in aerospace mechanisms, actuators, GD&T, and spaceflight hardware development.
