Description
Amazon Web Services’ Hardware Engineering team is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to scale manufacturing across a global network of contract manufacturers, original design manufacturers, and component vendors. The role owns PFMEAs, control plans, and process flows from product startup through end of life, leads quality control processes, provides hands-on technical support during new product introductions, investigates customer escalations through root cause analysis, and supports global operations with 25–50% domestic and international travel. Candidates need at least six years of high-volume manufacturing or sourcing experience, a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, two years of manufacturing engineering experience with server platforms or high-tech hardware, and five years of product development experience. The position is based in Austin, Texas, or Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of 159,200–215,300 USD annually.
