Description
SpaceX is hiring a Senior Network Edge Engineer (Starlink) to develop and deploy global interconnection infrastructure, including peering, transit, caching, and exchange strategies. The role leads peering and IX strategy, manages routing and traffic policies, builds automated interconnection workflows, and collaborates with subsystem, software, and operations teams. Candidates need at least five years of network infrastructure experience, including BGP, IP routing, network telemetry, IXPs, colocation, optical transport, and traffic engineering. The position requires some domestic and global travel, on-call rotations, and extended hours, with a Level 3 base salary of $165,000 to $270,000 and medical, vision, dental, retirement, and other benefits.
