The role owns network design, interconnections, datacenter deployments, capacity planning, security, performance, reliability, automation, and troubleshooting, while mentoring junior engineers. Candidates need a technical or engineering degree and 5+ years of professional networking experience, or 7+ years without a degree, along with Layer-1, datacenter, and network-device experience. The position requires a Top Secret clearance, domestic and global travel, on-call availability, and extended work as needed, with a Level 3 base salary of $165,000–$265,000 and additional benefits.
