Description
Forge Atomics is hiring a Senior Nuclear Engineer to own the end-to-end nuclear design and safety analysis of its first reactor, Ember. The role covers core design, fuel cycle, reactivity control, radiation shielding and release analysis, thermal hydraulics, and support through criticality, full-power operations, and commercial deployment. The engineer will lead high-impact analyses, mentor junior engineers, and work with fluids, structures, manufacturing, and fuel supply teams. The position is based in the South Bay area of Los Angeles County, requires relocation if not already local, is full-time and office-based, and pays $170,000–$220,000 per year plus equity and benefits.
