Description
The Vehicle Diagnostics Engineer will serve as a subject-matter expert for one or more vehicle subsystems, defining and implementing onboard diagnostic requirements, fault-detection mechanisms, monitoring strategies, and architectural designs. The role coordinates with software, hardware, manufacturing, service, quality, reliability, functional safety, homologation, and other diagnostic stakeholders, supports diagnostic tooling and plant integration, and drives continuous improvement across Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies’ electric vehicle platforms.
