Description
Amazon is hiring a Senior Operations Manager for its Fulfillment Center in Spokane Valley, Washington. The role oversees budgetary, people development, safety, quality, performance, and customer experience objectives; leads Operations and Area Managers; drives Lean and process-improvement initiatives; and coordinates with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT, and other senior operations leaders. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, at least seven years of direct management experience in manufacturing, production, or distribution, and experience with staffing, performance metrics, and Lean techniques. It involves physically demanding work, including lifting up to 49 pounds, frequent walking and standing, and access to building areas. The base salary is $135,000 to $182,700 annually, with additional compensation and benefits.
