Description
Amazon is hiring a Senior Operations Manager to lead a large-scale inbound or outbound fulfillment operation at its SBN1 facility in Bristol, Indiana. The role owns budgetary performance, people development, operational excellence, safety, quality, and continuous improvement; manages Operations and Area Managers; and collaborates with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT, and other leaders. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, at least seven years of direct management experience in manufacturing, production, or distribution, experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean techniques, and experience with the full staffing lifecycle. The role involves physically demanding work, including lifting up to 49 pounds, walking and standing for extended periods, and navigating construction or distribution environments. The base salary is $135,000 to $182,700 annually, with additional compensation and benefits.
