The Senior Operations Manager oversees all operations and the flow of product through a distribution or warehouse facility, supervising Operations Supervisors and coordinating inventory movement, production forecasting, resource allocation, workload planning, and key performance indicator targets. The role resolves escalated operational issues, communicates business objectives to team and senior leadership, and requires a set schedule that may include mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends. Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s degree and either three years of distribution center operations experience or seven years of increasing-responsibility experience, along with leadership, safety, mentoring, Microsoft Office, and warehouse management system experience.
