Description
Molex is hiring a Senior Optical Alignment Engineer to lead the design, qualification, and manufacturing implementation of optical assemblies that couple III-V laser diodes to photonic components for advanced packages such as CPO and ELSFP. The role covers submicron alignment processes, optical equipment and component specifications, solder or epoxy attachment, reliability and Telcordia qualification, failure analysis, and collaboration with R&D, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers. The position is based in Bridgewater, New Jersey or Fremont, California, requires a PhD and 10+ years of relevant R&D experience, and offers $180,000–$250,000 per year plus variable pay.
