Description
The Senior Patient Care Technician – Student Extern Resource provides direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision, including assisting with activities of daily living and phlebotomy, documentation, and patient and family education. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, current acceptance into an accredited nursing school, completion of at least the first semester of nursing school, computer documentation skills, strong communication, teamwork, accountability, and the ability to float between two hospital locations. Applicants must complete one week of full-time day-shift training and be able to lift.
