CASES is hiring a full-time Senior Peer Specialist for its Manhattan Nathaniel Community Success team, which provides alternatives-to-detention services for individuals with mental illness and substance use problems. The role engages participants, conducts needs assessments, coordinates case management and peer support, links clients to housing, benefits, employment, medical and civil legal services, and advocates for their rights. Candidates must have lived experience in the criminal legal system, a high school degree, peer certification, and strong communication and computer skills; Spanish fluency is preferred. The position is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a salary of $54,636.00 and medical, dental, and vision benefits.
