Description

Ledgebrook is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to support cloud infrastructure reliability, scalability, and developer self-service. The role manages AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, Helm templates, Terraform, Istio service mesh, and developer workflows. Candidates need at least five years of platform, DevOps, or site reliability engineering experience, along with hands-on AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Helm, Terraform, and Istio expertise. The position offers full remote flexibility, health, dental, and vision coverage, retirement benefits, and a base salary of $150,000–$200,000 USD for U.S.-based candidates.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
Hands-on AWS experience building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, including VPCs, subnets, and routing.
Experience administering, scaling, and monitoring production Kubernetes environments.
Experience building deployment pipelines with ArgoCD and GitHub Actions.
Experience writing and modularizing Helm charts for developer self-service.
Experience managing complex environments with Terraform.
Experience configuring traffic routing, security policies, and observability with Istio.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Azure or GCP.
Experience with OPA Gatekeeper policies.
Experience with PostgreSQL.
Experience scripting with Python and Bash.
