Description
Smartsheet is hiring a Sr. Principal Data Scientist to set the technical direction for applied machine learning and agentic AI systems serving its customer lifecycle. The role will architect sub-agent systems, establish modeling and evaluation standards, ship high-leverage models, lead data foundations and knowledge-layer agents, and partner with senior product and engineering leaders. It also involves mentoring staff and principal data scientists and shaping the data science team’s rigor. The position reports to the Director of Data Science, is based in Smartsheet’s Bengaluru office, and is marked as remote.
