Astera Labs is hiring a Sr Principal Product Applications Engineer to serve as the technical bridge between strategic customers and its engineering organization. The role supports custom silicon programs from architecture discussions through production deployment, leads hardware, firmware, software, and system-level debugging, translates customer requirements into engineering actions, influences future silicon development, and develops technical documentation and automation tools. It requires a relevant engineering degree, at least 10 years of customer-facing semiconductor or systems engineering experience, expertise in high-speed interconnect technologies, silicon bring-up and validation, Linux debugging, and Python or C/C++ scripting.
