Baxter is hiring a Senior Principal Software Engineer to research and develop embedded software for advanced medical monitors. The role owns the end-to-end software development lifecycle, defines technical roadmaps and architecture, manages product-level risks, leads cross-functional teams, and ensures compliance with medical device quality and regulatory standards. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline, at least 10 years of embedded software experience, and expertise in C/C++, RTOS, Embedded Linux, kernel and driver development, networking, and multi-threaded systems. The position offers an estimated base salary of $144,000–$198,000 annually, requires U.S. work authorization, and does not offer visa sponsorship.
