Description
The Senior Principal Software Engineer will advise on and lead the strategy and development of reusable software components, frameworks, SDKs, and services for a platform engineering product line at a global financial institution. The role focuses on creating durable, secure, resilient, observable, and agent-native software, translating complex technical issues to leadership, driving enterprise-wide adoption, and managing senior stakeholder relationships across business, product, and technology teams. Required qualifications include formal software engineering training or certification, 10+ years of applied experience, practical system design and operational stability experience, programming expertise, cross-functional influence, and extensive cloud-native experience; preferred qualifications include enterprise-scale reusable frameworks, agent-native architecture, and multi-year technical strategy experience.
