AWS is hiring a Category Manager to support the Americas data center build-out by creating and implementing sourcing strategies for at least one construction category, including Data Center Modularization. The role collaborates with business partners and suppliers to improve efficiency, reduce risk and cost, establish supplier performance metrics, and drive competitive bidding, negotiation, and market analysis. Candidates need strong supply chain and procurement experience, analytical and financial skills, construction and modular construction experience, and at least 6 years of related industry experience. The position is based in Austin, Texas; Herndon, Virginia; or Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of 147,900 to 200,100 USD annually.
