Description
The Senior Programmer Analyst performs advanced bioinformatics programming for statistical and computational research projects, leads moderately complex studies, and may support more complex studies. The role develops and validates SAS programs that transfer, combine, summarize, and report data across multiple systems, manages assignments, mentors junior team members, supports departmental infrastructure and bidding activities, and may travel domestically and internationally. Candidates need a relevant master's degree and at least three years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with equivalent academic or vocational qualification, plus at least five years of relevant experience.
