Description
The Project Engineer leads capital projects from concept through startup at Mennel’s Newton facility, covering flour milling, bakery mix manufacturing, packaging, utilities, warehouse operations, and facility infrastructure. The role manages project scope, budgets, schedules, procurement, contractors, installation, commissioning, and closeout while providing technical support to operations and maintenance. It also supports continuous improvement, food safety, reliability, quality, and long-term infrastructure planning. The position works assigned shifts, including overtime, and requires substantial manufacturing project experience, food manufacturing knowledge, and familiarity with GMP, OSHA, HACCP, and other regulatory requirements.
