GHD is hiring a Senior Project Engineer / Technical Director – Transportation (Highways and Roads) to provide technical leadership, project delivery oversight, client service, staff mentorship, and business development for complex highway, roadway, complete streets, active transportation, and federally funded transportation projects in Northern California and the United States West. The role is based in the Eureka, California office with a hybrid model requiring three days per week in the office, and may involve significant travel to client, project, or field locations. Candidates must hold a California Professional Civil Engineer license, have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, and possess 12–20+ years of transportation engineering experience, including extensive Caltrans and local-agency project delivery experience.
