Description
The Project Superintendent plans, coordinates, and supervises field and administrative operations for construction projects, providing technical direction and overseeing safety, costs, productivity, profitability, quality, schedules, and subcontractor work. The role includes developing construction plans, managing CPM schedules and weekly work plans, coordinating with owners and stakeholders, leading project teams, and implementing quality and safety plans. It requires a four-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training and experience, knowledge of construction technology, equipment, methods, negotiations, engineering, cost control, scheduling, and safety, and typically 10–15 years of experience for the first level or 15 years for the second level.
