Description
The Sr. Purchasing Agent is a senior buyer responsible for Corvant’s most complex and high-value HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and subcontracted-service purchases. The role leads procurement for large or mission-critical projects, negotiates vendor agreements and pricing, manages supplier relationships and performance, develops contingency and expediting plans, leads cost-control and process-improvement initiatives, and mentors Purchasing Agents I and II. It requires at least five years of progressive purchasing experience in HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, or construction, along with strong knowledge of equipment specifications, procurement schedules, ERP systems, and negotiation.
