Wabtec is hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer/Engineer – Test Engineer III/Technologist to support GE Transportation’s Distributed Power LOCOTROL® product line. The role plans, designs, executes, and documents verification and validation activities; develops test strategies, plans, procedures, cases, and reports; establishes hardware and software test environments; troubleshoots test setups; investigates defects; performs root-cause analysis; and develops automated test scripts using Python, LabVIEW, or TestStand. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline, 7–11 years of software verification and validation experience, and experience in safety-critical domains such as railway, locomotive, aerospace, automotive, or industrial automation.
