Description
The Manufacturing Process Engineer designs manufacturing processes, production layouts, equipment installation, machining, material handling, and tooling; develops statistical process control techniques; inspects machinery and tools; investigates quality problems; and ensures compliance with regulations. The role may guide engineering design, manage projects, and coach or direct lower-level professionals. It requires advanced knowledge of the manufacturing discipline, typically through university education, and specifies a university degree with at least five years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with at least two years of relevant experience.
