Description
CSSI is seeking a UAS Regulatory Analyst to support the FAA’s Aviation Safety programs by analyzing regulatory, policy, and compliance issues; drafting and reviewing regulatory documents; researching rulemaking inputs; evaluating Part 107 and UAS airspace waivers; analyzing UAS operations and technical systems; developing code, algorithms, dashboards, and text-mining solutions; and preparing technical reports for government and stakeholder use. The role requires a master’s degree and ten years of aviation-related or regulatory drafting experience, with a master’s degree waiver possible with a bachelor’s degree and thirteen years of related experience. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency with at least three years of U.S. residency and Public Trust approval are required.
