Description
UBC is hiring a fixed-term Pharmaceutical Support Specialist to provide customer service, coordinate patient and medical provider access to client products, verify insurance benefits, obtain prior authorizations, maintain case files, process orders and shipments, and support therapy initiation. The role also handles call-center triage, REMS adverse-event reporting, patient and prescriber education, and referrals. It requires a high school diploma or GED, 4–6 years of experience in insurance, biotechnology, or pharmaceuticals, and knowledge of billing, coding, medical terminology, prior authorizations, and appeals. The position is remote, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET, with medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, and other benefits.
