Description
The Senior Research Development Specialist will provide professional development, proposal coordination, mentoring, and strategic grant-writing support to faculty and researchers at UTMB Health. The role focuses on biomedical and life science research funding from federal agencies, particularly Health and Human Services and the National Institutes of Health, and includes proposal review, grant development, competitive intelligence, PI team coordination, and research alliance building. The position reports to a research administration or research development leader and requires a STEM, social science, or public health master's degree plus five years of experience developing or writing proposals for federal, state, or local agencies.
