Prophetic Software is hiring an AI Research Engineer to work with its Chief AI Officer on production AI systems for land-development intelligence. The role combines research and engineering across agentic systems, harness engineering, data pipelines, model inference, evaluation, and geospatial processing, shipping code that runs nationally across hundreds of millions of records. Candidates need a PhD or equivalent depth, at least five years of production software engineering experience, strong systems and Python skills, and deep LLM production experience. The role is remote, hybrid, or in-office with a Portland, Oregon headquarters and offers medical, dental, and vision coverage.
