Description
Dolby is hiring a full-time Research Scientist to investigate the human visual system and develop image-processing algorithms that improve perceived video and image quality. The role involves researching computer vision, machine learning, color science, and human perception; creating and validating demos and experiments; designing, prototyping, implementing, and evaluating algorithms; writing efficient and well-documented software; and documenting and presenting research findings. Candidates should have a master’s or PhD in imaging, color science, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field, along with experience designing computer vision and machine learning algorithms and an understanding of color science and human perception.
