Description
Amazon is hiring a Senior RF and Wireless Systems Engineer for its Digital RF Systems team to define RF architecture and line-up designs for custom ASICs used in Amazon Leo phased-array satellite and customer-terminal systems. The role covers RF specifications, RFIC and DSP design reviews, RF impairment modeling and correction, post-silicon validation, yield optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with silicon, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams. Candidates need a master's or Ph.D. in electrical engineering or a related field, at least seven years of wireless DSP/RF systems experience, and expertise in RF architectures, simulation, impairment compensation, and RFIC/ASIC design. The position is available in San Diego, California, and Redmond, Washington, with a base salary of $185,000 to $250,000 annually.
