Description
SpaceX is hiring a Senior RF Software Engineer for its Starshield team to develop advanced radio-frequency capabilities for national-security communications and remote sensing in low Earth orbit. The role involves RF system design decisions, research, test-bench and test-automation development in Python and C++, collaboration with hardware, FPGA, DSP, and software engineers, and electromagnetic simulation. Candidates need an engineering degree, at least five years of C/C++ or Python development experience, radio-test-equipment experience, and RF experience with antennas or communication systems; a master’s degree, active TS/SCI clearance, and experience with RF devices, testing methodologies, software architecture, and Windows/Linux systems are preferred. The listed Level 3 base salary is $165,000 to $230,000, with additional medical, vision, dental, retirement, and other benefits.
