Description
SpaceX is hiring a Senior RFIC Layout Designer to lead the layout discipline for custom analog and RFIC silicon projects supporting Starlink’s space and ground infrastructure. The role involves floor planning, RF and analog block layout, design rule and electrical checks, tape-out integration, EDA tool trials, and layout technique documentation. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering with 5+ years of IC layout experience, or 8+ years of IC layout experience without a degree; advanced-node, high-frequency, and RF layout experience are preferred. The position offers a Level 3 base salary of $140,000 to $230,000 plus medical, vision, dental, retirement, and other benefits, with extended hours and weekends as needed.
