ALTEN Technology USA is hiring a Senior Robotics Middleware Engineer to evaluate, prototype, and optimize next-generation communication middleware for advanced robotic systems. The role focuses on assessing Zenoh and other robotics transport technologies, improving high-throughput, low-latency messaging architectures on NVIDIA Jetson-class embedded platforms, and developing benchmarking frameworks for latency, throughput, CPU utilization, GPU overhead, and overall system performance. The engineer will collaborate with robotics, software, and systems engineering teams and document architectural recommendations. The position is on-site in North Reading, Massachusetts, or Woburn, Massachusetts, with a salary range of $135,000 to $170,000.
