Amazon is hiring a Spacecraft Hardware Engineer for its Bus Structures team to define and develop spacecraft structural hardware and vehicle architectures. The role integrates mechanical, electrical, thermal, RF, propulsion, manufacturing, test, and systems engineering; performs trade studies; develops detailed mechanical designs; supports structural analysis, qualification testing, manufacturing, launch integration, and flight-hardware configuration; and resolves hardware issues. Candidates need at least five years of mechanical engineering or equivalent experience, complex product design experience, cross-disciplinary project experience, and CAD and engineering documentation experience. The position is based in Redmond, Washington, with a base salary of 159,200 to 215,300 USD annually.
