Description
SpaceX is hiring a Senior Software Security Engineer for Starlink to design and build security infrastructure, develop security features for routers, dishes, gateways, and satellites, integrate security into factory processes, maintain production systems, and improve the security posture of Starlink software. The role requires a computer science or STEM bachelor's degree and 5+ years of security software development experience, or 7+ years of experience without a degree, along with experience in software development languages and security solutions for operating systems, distributed systems, or large-scale infrastructure. Preferred qualifications include experience with complex systems, TPMs, HSMs, network protocols, and advanced technical education. The position offers a Level 3 base salary of $180,000 to $280,000, medical, vision, and dental coverage, retirement and disability benefits, paid leave, and other perks, with extended hours and weekends as needed.
