Amgen Research is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to maintain, operate, and enhance the Research Taxonomy Foundation, a production platform for taxonomy, ontology, and controlled vocabulary management. The role develops Python-based software services, APIs, data pipelines, semantic capabilities, integrations, CI/CD, monitoring, and operational support, while collaborating with product, data, scientific, and business stakeholders. It requires a master's or bachelor's degree and 8–12 years of experience in a relevant computer science, IT, computational chemistry, computational biology, or bioinformatics field; biopharma research data analytics experience is preferred.
