Zscaler is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer for a hybrid role reporting to the Senior Director of Software Engineering. The position focuses on building and operating high-scale systems, providing architectural guidance, establishing coding and CI/CD best practices, and leading performance, reliability, and technology adoption initiatives. Candidates need at least three years of Java experience in distributed, enterprise-scale environments, Kafka, Druid, and ElasticSearch experience, on-call incident and RCA experience, cloud infrastructure knowledge, and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
